The quaint beautiful village of Deep Cove is a 20 min drive from Vancouver located at the entrance of Indian Arm on the shore of North Vancouver. The community features kayaking, paddle boarding, a variety of dining options and many shops to browse. This majestic waterfront community is a great destination for a day trip or just for a meal.

Recreation:

Baden Powell Trail

The eastern section of the Baden Powell trail travels through North Vancouver from Deep Cove to the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge. This section of the trail passes several scenic landscapes, from a view of Deep Cove and Indian Arm, to great canyon scenery of the Seymour River and Lynn Creek. Note that this hike has a different starting and ending point, so you will need to arrange transportation either back to your car at the starting point or through public transit.

Deep Cove Park

Adjacent to bustling Deep Cove Village at the end of Gallant Avenue, both Deep Cove Park and Panorama Park are popular waterfront Parks offer excellent views of Deep Cove, and provide a setting for boating and swimming, strolling and picnicking. This is the site of the summer Concerts in the Cove. A changeroom, boat house, playground and picnic shelter make Deep Cove Park popular for groups.

Panorama Park

Overlooks the bay with a beach, sitting areas, a play area for kids and lots of grass. It is the easterly access point to the Baden Powell Trail. Panorama Park is located in downtown Deep Cove with open grass spaces, a beach, a kids play area, a gathering and BBQ area and lots of places to sit and take in the beautiful scenery. It is home of Deep Cove Daze and the Penquin Plunge

Quarry Rock

Just off the shores of scenic Deep Cove in North Vancouver sits a large rocky outcrop known as Quarry Rock (also known as Grey Rock in some hiking books). A hiking trail which is also part of the easternmost section of the Baden Powell Trail, leads to this point offering scenic views of Indian Arm and the mountains around Belcarra.

Deep Cove Stage Society was established in 1974 to produce Live Theatre Shows in North Vancouver. After teaming up with First Impressions Theatre, the two groups joined with The Deep Cove Heritage Society & Seymour Art Gallery to form the Deep Cove Cultural Centre at 4360 Gallant Avenue, North Vancouver.
